There is an old song that say “working in the coal mine, working all day now. “

Day two of working from home did go a lot smoother today.  It is all the extra steps in place to do what I do that makes what I do harder that what I used to do. “DO” YOU UNDERSTAND?  WELL DO YOU?”

Instead of waking up at 4am I slept in to 4:05am and after a shower it is time to warm up the old computer to get my day started … I wanted to go back to bed but I started doing what I do (no more of that). I take an hour to an hour and a half getting things then at Six am it off to the races.

I wanted to share with you one thing that happened yesterday afternoon. My wife took the opportunity to get some fresh air and sit outside in the sunshine light breeze 57 degree temps and just relax, there was hardly a sound a very tranquil day when my wife looks at me and say’s “Life sure has slowed down”  I said “and that’s a good thing”

Here are some more ideas of things to do at home

. Download Duolingo, or a similar app, and teach yourself a foreign language.

Treat yourself to a 10-step skin care routine you don’t have time for during a normal work week.

Look at pictures of puppies.

Take note from “Tangled” star Rapunzel, who has an entire song about how she’s spent her days alone in a castle.  Activities included in her ditty: Ventriloquism, candle-making, papier-mâché and adding a new painting to her gallery.

Write actual letters to family and friends. After that? Write thank-you notes to service people who you remember went out of their way for you.

One more thing as I am writhing this my wife who is also working from home looks out the window see the clouds and the rain and says.  “why is March going out like a lion?”

That’s true This year the end of March was supposed to like a lamb!  BUT NO, WE GET MARCH ENDING LIKE A PERTURBED PIG
