Today was an abnormal day in an abnormal time in all of our lives.

For me it was my first day of working from home and it was really hard to get used to working from my Studio Kitchen!  As we call it the Denton Stichen.

I was a nervous wreck Sunday evening knowing that I had planned things out in my head and on paper but also knowing that things would be difficult at best.

I woke shortly after 4am to start my day.  When I am at the KOOL studio’s I have 2 computers and 3 screens I am looking at and a lot of tools that I might not have at home.

So I slowly pieced together my program for you and recorded on my stitchen recorder to send through the power of the internet to the radio station.   Let’s just say my learning curve is huge.

So, as I sit here thinking how I can do better there are a few things popping into my mind.    Like I haven’t had breakfast yet.

Over the next few days, I will be sharing some ideas about things we can do while we are staying home

. Complete a puzzle: The more pieces the better!  Take on a Rubik’s Cube. More of a word person? Crossword puzzle!

Start a journal or blog. Sure, it can be about the coronavirus, but it could also be about anything.   I thought I would hate writing a blog, but I love it

Dust off that old instrument and practice.

Watch all the really long movies you’ve avoided until now.

. We are all struggling with this and we need to come together but not to close!
