Classic footage of the 1991, INXS Wembley concert has been restored and will soon be available on Widescreen-4K–Ultra-HD.
The iconic sold-out concert took place 6 years before the death of frontman Michael Hutchence.
An album was released of the performance called Live Baby Live and the footage would have been restored sooner, but it disappeared. Longtime manager Chris M. Murphy spent 10 years looking for the 35mm cans and eventually located them in Australia.
The newly restored film will start screening in theatres in the band’s homeland of Australia as well as New Zealand beginning November 14 and will make it to North and South America by December 9.
