In addition to his 25-date fall tour, which kicks off next week, John Mellencamp has rolled out an additional 26-date trek set for February and March. Mellencamp's 2019 dates, which are billed as the "John Mellencamp Show," will be played in support of his upcoming album, his 24th studio set due out on November 16th, titled Other People's Stuff. Every ticket purchased online will come with a physical copy of the new album.

Tickets for the tour will be available to the general public beginning Friday, September 21st at 10 a.m. local time. Pre-sale and VIP tickets will be available beginning Wednesday, September 19th at 10 a.m, local time. or more information and all ticketing information, log on to Mellencamp.com.

For many of Mellencamp's followers, a large part of his allure is his ability to call things as he sees it -- especially in social situations when dealing with the "haves and the have-nots": "It's been a while since I've done it, but I still remember the frightening experience of being a young person and trying to borrow money from a bank -- or filling out a job application. For some reason, they're not people anymore in those situations; they become, 'them and us' real quick. 'Cause you could see the guy 20 minutes before in a different surrounding and he's just another guy. Everybody's your friend when you've got money, when you don't have money, nobody wants to know you." :
