John Oates has added a nine-date January run onto his upcoming solo dates in support of his just-released live EP, John Oates With The Good Road Band - Live. The new set features live tracks from his 2018 dates in support of his critically acclaimed Americana album, Arkansas. Oates said in a statement announcing the EP: "It's a joy and honor to perform with this talented group of Nashville players who bring out the best in me and bring it every night."

Oates' September solo run kicks off on September 14th at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania's Carnegie Lecture Hall with gigs set for Cleveland, Ohio; Indianapolis, Indiana; Hot Springs and Mesa, Arizona -- before wrapping on September 27th at Mill Valley, California's Sweetwater Music Hall

John Oates admitted that his current music, with its scaled back sound and folk influences, he's finally truly showing his musical stripes: "Now that I've had a chance to establish myself and people see how committed I am to it, it's totally being accepted and I think for the first time people are actually seeing my true musical personality."
