FRANK ZAPPA'S ‘THE HOT RATS SESSIONS' GETS NEW REISSUE: Frank Zappa's genius solo album "Hot Rats" is getting a brand new reissue worthy of it's genius. The solo album, the third album he released in 1969, is being released as "The Hot Rats Sessions", a six-disc deep dive into his original work. The reissue will feature over seven hours of material—something true Zappa fans can get excited for.

JIMMY PAGE POSTS CHILDHOOD PHOTO; GIRLFRIEND REACTS: Just in time for Christmas, legendary Led Zeppelin guitar player Jimmy Page took to Instagram and posted a picture of himself as a young child with the caption "Happy Holidays…" One notable comment came from girlfriend Scarlett Sabet, who is 45 years younger than Page. DEF LEPPARD TEASES RELEASE OF NEW BOX SET: Rock band Def Leppard is planning to release a new box set titled "The Early Years", which includes a live show from 1980—one which Joe Elliott called "astounding". The set will also include the first two albums with bonus material, and the band mentioned they are making touring a priority in 2020.

LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM WILL RETURN TO STAGE IN 2020: Fleetwood Mac's lead guitarist and vocalist Lindsey Buckingham has scheduled his first live appearance since his open heart surgery last February. The Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis, TN released the first round of their lineup with Buckingham among the artists; also featured are The Avett Brothers, Lil Wayne, and The Lumineers.

ALLEE WILLIS, WRITER OF ‘SEPTEMBER', DEAD AT 72: Songwriter Hall of Fame inductee Allee Willis, the writer of such hits as "September" by Earth, Wind and Fire and the "Friends" theme song, died on Tuesday (December 24th) at the age of 72. Willis died of cardiac arrest, and her partner is reportedly "in total shock".
