Queen's Roger Taylor is back with a new solo single, titled, “Gangster's Are Running The World.” Blabbermouth.net posted the lyric video for the track, which features the couplet: “There's blood in the streets / Panic in the air / The markets are trading up / In madness and fear.”
A while back after re-releasing the politically-tinged “Dear Mr. Murdoch” track slamming the Fox News magnate Rupert Murdoch, the Queen drummer admitted to The Independent, “Everybody's got an opinion and I was just lucky enough to have an outlet for mine. I prefer to stay out of politics, really. I don't live in a fluffy, badger-saving world.”
Roger Taylor told us that although the band will be digging deep into their catalogue once on tour, a Queen shows needs to be chock full of Queen classics: “We’re very aware of what we think people want to hear. Often, I’ve been to concerts where I haven’t heard exactly what I want to hear and so, we’re going to try and deliver that as well — what people would want to hear from a Queen concert — obviously a lot of the big hits. We’ll try and make it an interesting journey (laughs) through the hits.”
