• Blowing more than a few minds yesterday (June 18th) was the first-ever photo unearthed from the Beatles' final recording session on January 3rd to 4th, 1970. The photo of Paul McCartney and George Harrison on acoustic guitars -- which is the only shot of the Beatles still making music together in the 1970's -- was posted by the team at Harrison's social media pages as a salute to McCartney, who celebrated his 78th birthday yesterday. The photo was taken at London's Abbey Road Studios during the session for the Let It Be classic, "I Me Mine."

  • Rod Stewart and Cheap Trick have rescheduled their entire summer tour for 2021. Despite some swift planning, five cities on the original itinerary have been scrapped for next year -- Bangor, Maine; Mansfield, Massachusetts; Raleigh, North Carolina; and Maryland Heights, Montana.   • Forced by the coronvirus to postpone their "Rhapsody" summer tour, Queen + Adam Lambert will be bringing the show to YouTube. The band announced "a specially compiled show of never before seen highlights from previous tours" to air on Sunday, June 21st at Noon PT. The airing comes on the day the band would have marked their final O2 London concert.
  • Now showing on Netflix is The Show Must Go On: The Queen + Adam Lambert Story. The two-hour documentary follows Brian May and Roger Taylor plus singer Adam Lambert in their incredible collaboration of the last decade. The film includes rare concert footage, interviews with the trio, Lambert's parents, Simon Cowell and Bohemian Rhapsody's Freddie Mercury star Rami Malek. (Press release)

  • Kenny Loggins is coming to radio later this summer. It was just announced that United Stations will produce and distribute Kenny Loggins: The Real Thing on a market-exclusive basis. In marking the addition of the program, Andy Denemark of United Stations commented, "He's got a lifetime of cool stories, he's a rock star you'd want to have coffee with, and he's charming, easy-going and relatable."
  • Kenny Loggins added, "I grew up on radio, I always loved the medium and I also love the idea of doing something new in this new decade. Music and music radio has been my life, and I'm excited about where we might go with this new endeavor." (Press release)

  • Coming on June 26th, a digital deluxe version of Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill will be released that pairs the original 13-track album, with a new acoustic live album from Alanis' performance March 2020 London concert.
  • On Sunday, June 28th, fans will be treated to a special screening of the long out-of-print Jagged Little Pill, Live on Alanis' YouTube Channel at 12:30 p.m. ET. Released in 1997, Jagged Little Pill, Live chronicles Alanis' 1995-96 world tour supporting the album. It features on-stage performances of every song from the album, along with the rarity, "No Pressure Over Cappuccino." (Press release)
