Fans that missed Roger Waters' massive year-and-a-half "Us + Them" tour will soon get a chance to see it on the big screen. Variety reported that Trafalgar Releasing has scored the film rights to the concert film, with the movie hitting theaters this fall. Back in 2015, Trafalgar distributed Waters' last theatrical release, Roger Waters - The Wall. The "Us + Them" trek, which played five legs across the globe over 157 shows, grossed a massive $198.46 million between May 2017 and December 2018.

Waters' manager Mark Fenwick said of the upcoming movie, "Roger has been the innovator of theater in arena and stadium rock n' roll since the early-’70s. He is legendary for pushing the boundaries of surround sound and visual entertainment with his message of love and humanity through 'Us + Them.'"

Trafalgar CEO Marc Allenby added: "Roger Waters’ contribution to the music landscape is unrivaled. His spectacular shows across the world, in the greatest stadiums and arenas, are always poignant, relevant both creatively and as a champion of human rights. It’s a great honor to be collaborating with Roger and his team again."

To the delight of most fans, in addition to new solo work, the "Us + Them" tour was chock full of Pink Floyd classics. Roger Waters reflected on his parting of the ways with Floyd following 1982's The Final Cut: "We’d been working very successfully for 20 years. But, y’know, people grow in different ways and we change as the years go by and the time had come when we had diverged musically and philosophically and maybe politically as well, and so, I needed to get out from underneath that umbrella."
