Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan will release a new solo album titled Cotillions on November 22nd via his own Martha's Music label. Like 2017's Ogilala, the disc will be issued under his full name, William Patrick Corgan.

Corgan wrote in an Instagram post: "Cotillions: Nov 22, this double album, a true labor of love, is available on all digital platforms. All you have to do is pre-subscribe so you can see the song titles and have it waiting for you the moment it comes out."

He continued, "Don't miss the chance to hear it for yourself before others tell you what my songs are or aren't. There is a reason I trust you, the people who support me day in and day out, to decide whether or not my efforts are worthy . . . this is absolutely an album from my heart. And so is the new SP, which will be out soon enough."

Corgan added that there will be two vinyl versions of the LP as well, one of them a limited edition with more content.

The Pumpkins, featuring Corgan along with original members James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin, embarked on the "Shiny And Oh So Bright Tour" in 2018. Named after the album with the same title, it sold over 300,000 tickets across North America.
