Steve Van Zandt is slowly adjusting to life as a frontman as his solo band Little Steve & The Disciples Of Soul gears up for their next string of U.S. dates. Van Zandt has just announced the release of a Blu-ray and seven-LP vinyl version of his newly released triple-disc Soulfire LIVE! CD, featuring guest appearances by Bruce Springsteen, Richie Sambora, and Paul McCartney.

After two decades focusing on the E Street Band -- along with his radio career, and acting work on The Sopranos and Lillyhammer -- getting back to making his own music has meant the world Van Zandt: "It's been absolutely wonderful for me reconnecting with my own work. I think it was absolutely essential that it happened and it's been very, very healthy for me and slowly trying to make that transformation back into being a frontman has been nothing but healthy. And it's gonna take me, y'know, a couple more years -- if I ever get back where I was in the '80s -- which, I had gotten quite good at it. And this band is just incredible -- it's ridiculous."
