Sting has signed on to headline Highland Park, Illinois' Ravina Festival, just outside of Chicago, on August 23rd and 24th. announced tickets will go on sale to the general public on May 8th. Sting only has a handful of U.S. tour dates this summer, with already scheduled stops set for Arlington, Texas; Vienna, Virginia; Aspen, Colorado; and a special show with the Utah Symphony in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Sting is currently performing in the Toronto revival of his Tony-nominated Broadway musical, The Last Ship. Sting, who plays the role of shipyard foreman “Jackie White,” can bee seen at the city's Princess of Wales Theatre through March 24th. He'll reprise his role early in 2020 during a month-long run at L.A.'s Ahmanson Theatre.

Sting recently told us that he's especially proud of how adaptable his music is for most any genre he chooses to tackle onstage: “I've always said a good song will survive almost anything. Y'know, I could sit there and play all of these songs on a guitar and just accompany myself, I can do them with a three-piece rock band, I can do them with a slightly larger group with a few jazzers in 'em. Now we can take them to a symphony orchestra and say, 'Well does this work?' And lo and behold, nine times out of ten it does.”
