THE BIG BANG THEORY CHANGED MY LIFE
You thought I was going to write BAZINGA didn’t you?
12 years ago when CBS started the Big Bang Theater I didn’t watch. That was until the show started running in syndication on TBS.
The episode that got me hooked was when Sheldon dove into the ball pit and shouted Bazinga as he stayed away from Leonard
So how does a sitcom about scientist and nerds change to life of a suave sophisticated man about town like me?
The Comic book store! Thant’s how.
I don’t know which show it was but they were at the comic book store and I found myself not watching the show but searching the background for the KOOL superhero figures! One night I looked at my wife and said “those action figures are so KOOL, I think I will try to start a collection, and start reading comics again.”
Teresa looked at me and without a blink agreed with me!
NOW I COLLECT COMIC BOOKS AND SUPERHERO FIGURES.
I collect what I like to read and don’t have anything of value except to me. That to me is what collection anything is about. Do you love it? Do you want it? And CAN I AFFORD THIS?
I have spent weekends at Thrift Stores, garage sales, and Flea markets on the hunt, which is the fun in any collection. Without the hunt you miss out on the fun of collecting any item.
So as I said The Big Bang Theory really did change my life!
Here is my favorite scene from the show
Bye bye to The Big Bang and The Game of thrones
Stupid news is stupid luck and romance
Life lines Lunchables and Global warming
