The Rolling Stones have officially announced the November 16th release of the band's multimedia concert film, Voodoo Lounge Uncut. The collection was filmed and recorded on November 25th, 1994 at Miami’s Joe Robbie stadium, with the newly remixed and remastered project now featuring 10 previously unreleased performances. Voodoo Lounge Uncut features guest appearances from Sheryl Crow, Robert Cray, and Bo Diddley -- along with includes five bonus performances on all visual formats from the Stones' August run at East Rutherford, New Jersey's Giants Stadium.

Voodoo Lounge Uncut will be available as a DVD/two-CD, Blu-ray/two-CD, triple vinyl, digital video, digital audio and HD digital audio.

Mick Jagger shed light on what needs to be taken into account when playing a stadium-type show: "Really, when you go to a big, uh, stadium show, the people that go -- the punters, as we call them -- are not really just going to hear some pristine music. It's just sort of all-'round experience. It's halfway between going to a football match and, y'know, a music show. So, it's. . . You're really looking for -- you want something to enhance the experience visually, to amplify and enhance the experience. Musicians think that's all that people want, but, I mean, I don't take their view." "
