The 90th annual Academy of Motion Pictures Oscars were handed out last night in Hollywood.  “The Shape of Water” won best picture.  Haven’t seen it but I heard it isn’t the name of the Aqua man movie.

I am not into award show but I always look to see who won the worst of the worst in the Razzies.  This year the movie “Baywatch” staring the Rock won Worst Picture and also won a new award category in “The Rotten Tomatoes: Razzie nominee that was so bad you loved it” I have an idea for a Sequel “WILLARD BAY WATCH”  HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!   Yeah I know what you are saying “Does he really get paid to do this “YES, YES HE DOES”

I was trying to think of the worst movies I have ever seen and I came up with a few.

The Hulk:  The Ang Lee movie.  After watching that I was so glad that I was given tickets because if I would have paid good money for that I would have been ticked

Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon:  A film that had great revues and the worst special effects ever.  Oh yeah it was and Ang Lee film

Looking for Mr. Goodbar:  it was so bad I almost stopped eating the candy bar.

Field of Dreams:  I know a movie about baseball which I love but I just didn’t get it.

I guess I would have to give an award for a horrible performance in a pretty good movie.  That award would go to Marlon Brando’s role in the 1st Superman movie!  With honorable mention to Samuel L. Jackson in the Star Wars films.  As good as he is in the Avengers he was the opposite in Star Wars.  He acted like he was reading the lines for the 1st time.

But the best bad movies are shown on “Mystery Science Theater” Named one of US magazines top 100 TV shows.  It was a show about Bad Movies being shown to Joel and his Robot friends in outer space as part of an experiment by the bad guys on earth.

They used the worst old B movies (usually horror films) and Joel and the robots would comment on the movie.  If you have never seen MST 3000 it is rude crude and socially unacceptable and I loved it.

A few years ago I had a chance to interview the man who helped create MST 3000 Joel Hodgsen.  I met him at Comic Con in Salt Lake City.

And speaking of good bad movies let me suggest a great movie about a movie director known for making horrible movies.   The movies name is “Ed Wood”  Johnny Depp, Martin Landau, Bill Murray, Sarah Jessica Parker and “GEORGE THE ANIMAL STEEL”   I am not kidding you, I think this is one of my favorite movies of all time
