DISTURBED COVERS ’90s STING CLASSIC

Disturbed has come back with and unlikely cover — Sting's “If I Ever Lose My Faith In You” from 1993's Ten Summoners Tales. Ultimate-Guitar.com posted the new video, which was directed by Matt Mahurin.

The band spoke about the track in a press release, which reads:

We have loved this song for a long time, and even though it was released in 1993, it seems strangely applicable to today's world. The song is about losing faith, and might initially sound pessimistic, but it's about the importance and power of personal relationships, and how they can save you and provide solace in an increasingly confusing world.

Guitarist Dan Donegan told us that Disturbed is grateful for the solid run of success it's had going on two decades: “There's just so many times we have to pinch ourselves, and just looking back at all the accomplishments we've had, and just climbing that mountain and just things just continuing to grow for us, it's pretty overwhelming. It's good to know that in a tough business to be in in the first place, that we've been able to stand the test of time and keep on going.”
