KISS’ ACE FREHLEY COVERS BEATLES’ SONG, ADDS SWEARING TO LYRICS

Former Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley has released a cover of the Beatles’ 1965 classic “I’m Down.” His version is largely faithful to the original, although he added a brief moment of swearing into the lyrics. You’ll find it on his upcoming collection of cover songs called Origins Vol. 2.

The album features Robin Zander of Cheap Trick, Bruce Kulick, John 5 and Lita Ford. A few of the songs covered include Led Zeppelin’s “Good Times Bad Times,” “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” by the Stones, and “Lola” by the Kinks.
For the album’s bonus track, Frehley revisits the Kiss track “She,” which originally appeared on the 1975 album Dressed To Kill. The release date is September 18.
