METALLICA UPLOADS 2006 VIDEO PERFORMANCE OF ‘MASTER OF PUPPETS’

Metallica has posted its latest video to YouTube for the band's 'Metallica Mondays' video series. The show, from June 6th, 2006 in Waldbühne, Germany, features the band performing its 1986 Master Of Puppets album in its entirety in celebration of the set's 20th anniversary.

Metalheadzone.com posted: “As another detail, fans can support workforce education, the fight against hunger, and other critical issues by pushing the 'Donate' button on the right side of the video. All benefits will be directed to hunger and other COVID-19 related problems by 'Metallica’s All Within My Hands' foundation.”

Guitarist Kirk Hammett told us not long ago that Metallica has to be in better than average shape to play its music live: “There's a physicality to our music that we cannot ignore, so we just kind of have to keep ourselves in a certain sort of physical sort of state where that, y'know, we can't let ourselves get to a point where we can't play these songs, you know. That's just not allowed. Y'know, when we write this music, we have to make sure that we can play it and play it, y'know, when we need to play it.”
