- Lisa Marie Presley's late son, Benjamin Keough, has been laid to rest with the Presley family on the grounds of Elvis Presley's Graceland estate. Tragically, this past July 13th, Elvis and Priscilla Presley's only grandson, Benjamin shot himself with a shotgun at his home in Calabasas, California. He was 27-years-old.
- A message was posted on the official Graceland Facebook page, statement: “Benjamin Storm Presley Keough was laid to rest in the Meditation Garden at Graceland with his family including his grandfather, Elvis Presley, great-grandmother, Gladys Presley, great-grandfather, Vernon Presley and great-great-grandmother, Minnie Mae Presley.”
- A new string of David Bowie live shows will be released under the banner David Bowie Brilliant Live Adventures. The first release on CD and double vinyl is David Bowie Ouvrez Le Chien (Live In Dallas 95), which is set for October 30th, and was previously a streaming-only live album, recorded live at Dallas' Starplex Amphitheater on October 13th, 1995 during the U.S. leg of the Outside tour.
- The first three albums and the special limited edition boxes will be released pre-Christmas, with the remaining three albums coming early in 2021. (Press release)
- The Doors have premiered takes one and two of “Roadhouse Blues,” which will, be featured on the upcoming 50th anniversary edition of Morrison Hotel due out on October 9th. Prior to the band laying down the track, the late-Jim Morrison is heard giving the band a colorful and descriptive backstory in order to inspire them.
- On the tape Morrison says, “Now the subject of this song is something that all of you have seen at one time or another, it’s an old roadhouse. We’re down in the South or in the Midwest or maybe on the way to Bakersfield, and we’re driving in a ’57 Chevy to an old roadhouse. Can you dig it? It’s about 1:30 and we’re not driving too fast, but we’re not driving too slow either. We’ve got a six-pack of beer in the car, and a few joints, and we’re just listening to the radio and driving to the roadhouse through nature. Dig it?” (Rolling Stone)

- Yes has released their cover of John Lennon's classic “Imagine,” which will be featured on the band's upcoming live album — The Royal Affair Tour: Live From Las Vegas — set for release on October 30th. The tune has a special link to the band, with long time drummer Alan White holding the distinction of being the drummer on Lennon's original 1971 track.
