The Smashing Pumpkins will release their new double album later this year. Cyr will be released on November 27th and will feature 20 tracks produced by frontman Billy Corgan. The record was made by the reunited lineup of founding members Corgan, James Iha, Jimmy Chamberlin, and guitarist Jeff Schroeder.

The band is also launching an animated series, entitled In Ashes. The five-part series was created by Corgan and animated by Deep Sky. The show will premiere on September 25th along with new music from the album.
