Smashing Pumpkins are teasing something pretty big on their website but it's not clear exactly what. The band has five separate countdowns running, all 21 days apart. Loudwire reports that the first countdown was set to expire at midnight last night (Sunday, August 16th) and the final one expected on November 19th. The thinking is that these are all new songs leading up to the release of a full album.

Earlier this year, Billy Corgan told The Tennessean of a new album, “I've been working on it for over a year. It currently is at 21 songs, and we're going to release it as a double this year.”
